A two day course in a fully equipped woodturning workshop, based in Veryan (on the Roseland) TR2.

Similar to the one day course, but provides more time to spend an entire day on each type of turning (spindle and bowl turning).

This course provides a basic understanding of woodturning - both theory and practical, including; safety, tools, body positioning & tool presentation, grain orientation, tool selection and sharpening, spindle turning, bowl turning, end grain vs cross grain turning, sanding and finishing.

At the end of this course you will be able to carry out the most common cuts associated with each tool, with confidence, safely and with minimal (or no) tear out, together with a theoretical understanding of the various types of woodturning and a practical knowledge to take away and turn safely.

All PPE and wood provided.
